Feeling love

The warm feeling inside
spreading from my chest,
reaching my cheeks and turning them pink

The ache inside my heart
when I long for you to be with me

The beauty of your eyes
when they meet mine,
making me want to stare into them forever

The butterflies in my stomach
when I see you smile,
flashing your white teeth
and the happy little boy inside of you

The smile I can’t stop from forming on my lips
when you make me laugh

The happiness I feel
that fills my every day with joy
when you are near

This feeling, like nothing I have ever felt before,
has now become my reason to smile
